Combatting lusty koalas

Contraceptives to control koalas:

The $500,000 fertility control plan is part of a statewide strategy to manage the wild koala population.

Victorian Environment Minister John Thwaites said the strategy identified ways to reduce the damage caused to favoured food trees by over-abundant koalas.
