Web design/development

Extensive knowledge of Web standards (HTML/XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL), cross-browser compatibility issues. Sound knowledge of Unicode and internationalisation.

Excellent knowledge in Web design accessibility and WAI standards, usability principles and methods for usability testing. Familiar with issues relating to information architecture, content structure and presentation.

Good knowledge of, and solid experience in graphics software such as Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Creative Suite, especially with regards to creating images for the Web. Well-versed in Dreamweaver and Homesite.

In-depth Web programming experience in Perl, knowledgeable in PHP, Javascript/DHTML, and the Apache Web server.
